The Pedder Family in Liverpool

This page lists those members of the Pedder family whose origins we are researching. Entries in italics are inferred or uncertain, or have been supplied by other researchers and not personally verified by us. The list does not include children known to have died in infancy. Nearly all of the information found so far on this family relates to Liverpool, where we have traced our line back to Thomas Pedder and Ann Hewson. We have not found Thomas Pedder's baptism, but we believe that his father was the John Pedder who married Mary Taylor (then a widow) in 1802. John was possibly the son of William and Jane Pedder, but the origins of the family, and Mary Taylor's maiden surname, are uncertain.
